In April 2022, I visited a good friend who moved to LA and we visited Bronson Canyon, right near the Hollywood sign. It's so cool! Sooo many TV shows and movies have been filmed there. They frame the shots so that the Hollywood sign doesn't show in the background. It's always cool / nostalgic / comforting to see in movies.
But I digress -- this sequel actually isn't that bad. The first one is terrible, but this one is only marginally dumb. Yes it's bad, but not as bad (or annoying) as the first one.
Michael Gross from Family Ties is in it! And a young, cute Hilary Swank. The bad guy's name is Bojesse -- if you can name another dude who has that name I'll give ya a nickel.

Sometimes They Have Diarrhea
Good cheesy direct-to-video sequel.
I remember The Sci Fi Channel playing this one a lot back in the day. It's pretty much the first film redone with added gore and some sex and nudity, sadly it lacks that films budget. Overall, it's some good cheesy DTV fun with Alexis Arquette owning the whole movie with his over the top acting and corny one liners.
By the Numbers Horror...
...that pays lip service to the original movie...which in turn was a somewhat weak adaptation of the original King short story. As such, the focus is on the gore rather than the peripheral back-plot of why the ghost/demons are stalking the protagonist. It's a merely adequate horror movie, but don't go into it looking for a glimmer of the Master's work.
